So a few weeks ago, Gabe and I took a little mini vaca to the North Shore with a few good friends. It had been months since we just went somewhere intentionally planned and not work related. I was thrilled! I was missing those “dating days” when all you do as a couple are fun, adventurous things and youre just so smitten with each other, no other thought invades your attention. Don’t get me wrong we are still in love like Noah + Allie from the Notebook. (Its true, I even took a quiz online to get this information!) But other things (like work) seem to more easily take our attention. Its life, it happens! But, I was glad to have a weekend away to re focus and spend some quality time together. Here are a few photos from our trip! Glad I could share this little happy trip!  It was my first time to the North Shore!

Ok so, with that being said, I of course cant shut off my photographer brain like, EVER so I have to admit, I was pining to shoot a North Shore wedding in Duluth!  We also visited the Glensheen Mansion which was fun to tour and would be amazing to have a wedding there!  There are beautiful intimate mansions, Lake Superior shore line for scenery. Waterfalls, Lighthouses, you name it!  It is a perfect location for a wedding! Hopefully one of these days I will have a chance to travel back up that way to shoot a wedding!

Have any of you gotten married in Duluth?  If so, share below in the comments!
